I started teaching fitness in 1998 after having my son with a strength training class and a simple stretch class at my local YMCA. I had been reading and self-teaching Yoga and began to incorporate Yoga moves into my stretch class. I saw incredible transformations with my students right away! My place of employment, like many people, had the misconception that Yoga was a religion. Learning the knowledge behind Yoga taught me that it is about the relationship you have with your self which will affect your relationships with everything around you – whether you choose a higher power or not. I watched your everyday person experience physical, internal, even spiritual changes improving the actual being inside and out. This had an incredible influence on me immediately. I had found something so universal, for everyone and anyone, I wanted to take it further and see where I could go with this amazing ancient technique.

I was not able to teach Yoga where I had been a fitness instructor and I felt that I had something that I had to tell and show the world. This prompted me to open up my own Yoga studio now known as Sunshine Yoga Wellness Spa. I can’t explain the results that I get to personally see on a daily basis. This practice is for all. It will allow you to come into your wholeness which will in return allow you to have better relationships with the world and beings around you!

Access Bars Facilitator & Practitioner

Working for 17 years as a special education teacher and then as a service provider for DCS, I have spent a lot of time helping people who were hurting. But, after 20+ years on medication for anxiety and depression, I wanted to do something different. I tried everything people tell you to try, diet, exercise, meditation, and nothing seemed to make a significant enough different that I could stop taking medications. Then I found Access Bars. It has led me on an amazing journey that allows me to walk through life unmedicated and JOYOUS! It is such an amazing process I had to learn it so I could help others.

Not only has my anxiety and depression disappeared, but I also lower my blood pressure and lost over 55 pounds! The effects of Access Bars are different on everyone but no one leaves without feeling lighter/ more relaxed. Want the ultimate relaxation and some regenerative time? Try and Bars/Facelift session! You won’t just feel like a new person, you will BE a new person!

Massage Therapist
Lafayette, IN

I grew up in the world of metaphysics and healing. What people deem weird is often my normal. My friends like to call me the small medium at large. I spent 18 years working as a ballerina, touring and traveling the world, and always found myself seeking out and returning to healing work. I have learned and practiced many forms of Eastern and Western modalities. I am licensed in multiple states as a massage therapist and specialize in Ashiatsu, but also offer several other modalities. I am certified in Somatic Breathwork, several styles of Yoga, Subtle Chakra Energy work, Meditation, Transformation Coaching, and Hypno-Healing. I enjoy dance, Pilates, and Barre exercise, as well as mindful walking. My goal when working is to listen deeply to you, to your body, to spirit, and to all the things you are ready to bring up for advancing your growth and healing. I am truly excited to be part of the Dimension 7 Hub and to get to know the community.

My name is Steph, and I have lived in the Lafayette area since 2005. I’m originally from Hattiesburg, MS where I attended college and received a degree in Vocal Performance. I have been singing professionally for the last 17 years. In addition to my love for music, I have also enjoyed photography very much. I am a mom to 3 amazing kiddos who all share my love for the arts in some way.

I have been on a wild health journey for the past 4 years, and recently decided to take my passion for this industry to the next level by becoming a certified health coach, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. I’ve seen and felt the benefits of holistic weight loss, mindset training, and proper nutrition work in my own life, so this felt like such a natural step. Helping others has been so incredibly rewarding for me and I’m excited to be able to extend a hand to this amazing community!

Chad Wright

COTA, LMT, Certified Somatic Coach
Lafayette, IN

Chad has been a bodywork therapist since 1998 when he began practicing occupational therapy with an associates degree in the discipline.  He worked for a year at an inpatient, primarily geriatric, rehab facility.  Chad quickly discovered his aptitude and passion for helping people heal from pain, trauma, dysfunction, and postural misalignment through treating the connective tissue called fascia – that three-dimensionally interconnects every part of us! –  after learning some basics of myofascial release and craniosacral therapy from a colleague.  Chad had planned on doing extensive academic education, but once he began taking seminars in myofascial release (mfr), he realized the importance of developing his feeling intelligence and became an expert in mfr, as well as visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy; and studied muscle energy techniques, lymph drainage therapy, and other approaches.  So he could practice bodywork independently, Chad became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 1999.  While he did so for some years, Chad no longer offers traditional massage, as his passion for the profound effects of releasing fascial restrictions has grown.  Chad has spent the past 25 years taking dozens of seminars by some of the best teachers in the world.   Through these combined approaches with the principles of the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach at the forefront, Chad has successfully treated people with a litany of disorders, some of which include: poor posture, trauma, back pain, neck pain, stenosis, sports and dance injuries, bulging and herniated discs, sciatica, vertigo, tinnitus, acid reflux, gall bladder spasms and other visceral issues, plantar fasciitis syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, tmj disorders, vertigo, tinnitus, cva’s, birth trauma and various other  traumas, inflammatory disorders, headaches, long covid, and more.  Chad is an instructor for the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Seminars.  He has also taught his own healing treatment weekends going back to 2002 and stretching classes using the mfr principles and others mentioned.  In 2002 Chad wrote and self published Myofascial Stretching and Self Treatment Guide.  (Not currently available to the public).  In 2005 Chad was certified as a somatic coach by the Hendrick’s Institute to help with dialoging with trauma and relationship challenges, though his passion has remained primarily towards bodywork.  Instrumental to his understanding of movement, health, healing, and posture are also Chad’s in depth background in boxing and martial arts as well as competitive salsa and ballroom dance and partner lifts and acrobatics, and a lifelong commitment to fitness.  Chad has a particular interest in practicing peace and plans to publish a book on the subject. Stay tuned!  He remains curious and open, renewing his beginner’s mind every day, and as a result loves and is astounded by the opportunity to do his work more than ever.  Chad is known for his personal and business motto “Everything is connected!”  He looks forward to serving your needs as best he can!
